We whiskey lovers are a passionate bunch. That’s why you’re here right? Well, if you live in Nashville and are looking to spend more with your fellow aficionados then recently launched Whiskey Society.

Located at Gertie’s Bar at The 404 Kitchen, members will spend evenings sharing drinks with friends from their limited-series, exclusive bottles which they will receive six times per year. These bottles will be personally chosen by whiskey enthusiast and Chef Matt Bolus and every member will have his or her own private, keyed locker at Gertie’s where their bottles will be stored.

The perks will also include member holiday parties, whiskey cocktail classes and whiskey education classes. Members will also enjoy other samples and perks throughout the year, including early access to the restaurant’s public events, member discounts and preferred reservations at The 404 Kitchen for up to 4 guests. Members will also receive the “whiskey chat” emails with information on whiskey offerings, cocktail recipes, pairing ideas and other fun tidbits.

“It’s a fun way to bring a close-knit group of guests together to enjoy what is a hobby and passion for us,” explains Bolus, executive chef at The 404 Kitchen. “It’s something that I think Gertrude Lythgoe would be proud of.”

Gertie’s Bar currently holds more than 400 whiskey offerings and has been named one of the Best Places to Drink Whiskey in Nashville by The Tennessean, one of America’s Best Bourbon Bars by The Bourbon Review, and the Best Whiskey Bar in Tennessee by Thrillist.

Memberships are available at different increments: $375 for a 3-month membership; $750 for a 6-month membership; and $1,400 for an annual membership.
