Who’s ready for a geography lesson with their cocktail? This week’s featured cocktail is from Missouri but is inspired by Louisiana.
Created by Brock Schulte, The Monarch‘s Louisiana Purchase is a nautical-inspired Manhattan crafted from a private barrel of the Jefferson’s Ocean Aged At Sea Bourbon.
Ingredients:
- 2.0 oz Monarch Private Barrel Jefferson’s Ocean Aged at Sea Bourbon Voyage 14
- .5 oz Infinity Vermouth
- .5 oz Amer Picon
- Spritzed on top Salted Cardamom “Iron” Bitters
Instructions:
All ingredients save for the bitters should be shaken then long poured into the glass with the bitters spritzed on top to finish.
